When you get depressed, you enter into a state of lethargy and passiveness where you lose hope and no longer desire to do something. It affects your studies in the way that you lack motivation and energy to accomplish any work done, you dont wish to study and no longed desires to pass or get something done and no longer cares about the consequences. With this, you may get low scores resulting to low grades.
